Ascend Intelligences works with U.S. federal agencies, international development organizations and private companies. The work is practical: modernizing financial systems, putting real governance around technology, running the projects that deliver both, and bringing artificial intelligence, including AI agents, into finance and audit offices in a way that holds up when the auditors arrive.
Behind the firm are fifteen years spent inside demanding public institutions, among them the U.S. Treasury, the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General and the Department of Justice, and two certifications that count in this field: PMP in project management and CISA in information systems audit.

Led the migration to Oracle Financials that replaced seven legacy systems, and gave the Department financial reporting in real time that it could take into audit.
DoD Office of Inspector General
Wrote the IT requirements management plan and set up the demand management process, with a prioritization model tied to the CPIC selection process, for an office of about 2,000 people in 60 locations. Carried the business analysis and requirements for a budget automation tool, an enterprise data catalog, SharePoint Online workflow tools and the proof of concept of an AI search tool built on retrieval-augmented generation, now implemented and being piloted across the office's components. Wrote the retirement plan for FootPrints, the legacy service desk, as part of the move to ServiceNow.

Kotiza, the digital tontine registry
Kotiza is the software product of Ascend Intelligences LLC. In Senegal it is run by the firm's sister company, Ascend International Professional Service SUARL in Dakar. It keeps the register of a tontine for its organizer, in Senegal and in the diaspora. Kotiza keeps the record; it never holds the money.
